  2. Sussex Heart Charity Trustees agree to make a donation of £500 to help enable Jessica and her family to enjoy a much needed holiday.

    January 11, 2010 by admin

12 year old Jessica was diagnosed with Primary Bone Cancer aged nine, Jessica endured a major operation to remove her cancerous upper right arm and shoulder bone, and is learning to live with a special titanium prosthesis.

As if all that wasn’t difficult enough, she suffered a stroke and heart damage as a result of her chemotherapy treatment, and is currently hoping the cancer stays in remission; Jessica is now on a waiting list for a heart transplant operation

In September 2008 Mrs Cara Cannons (Jessica’s Mother) wrote to the Sussex Heart Charity explaining Jessica’s circumstances.

Because of Jessica’s plight the Sussex Heart Charity Trustees agree to make a donation of £500 to help enable Jessica and her family to enjoy a much needed holiday.
